The Howe Family operates a mixed farming operation under the herd names Whitecap Charolais and Howe Red Angus. Established in 1950 by Elgin Howe. Mike & Lisa along with Kelly and Julie-Anne are the 3rd generation working on the farm. Up and coming is the 4th generation, Matthew and Elise The cowherd consists of 300 breeding females - which is a combination of purebred Charolais and Red Angus cows. We are located 8 miles (13 km) south of Moose Jaw on highway #2 and 1 1/2 miles (2.5 km) east of Sukanen Ship Museum on the north side of the road.

Crops and Irrigation
The farm includes 10 quarters of irrigation, which is irrigated by effluent water from the city of Moose Jaw. We grow about a 2500 acres of grain, alfalfa and pasture.
