The Howes operate a mixed farming operation under the herd names Whitecap Charolais and Howe Red Angus. Established in 1950 by Elgin & Lottie Howe. Their sons Dale(Lois) & Doug joined the operation and Mike & Lisa are the 3rd generation working on the farm. The cowherd consists of 270 breeding females - which is a combination of purebred Charolais and Red Angus cows. We are located 8 miles (13 km) south of Moose Jaw on highway #2 and 1 1/2 miles (2.5 km) east of the Sukanen Ship Museum on the north side of the Baildon grid road. Yardsite #8273.

Annual Bull Sale began in 1991 & has been held on farm since 2001 on the first Wednesday in April.
Crops and Irrigation The farm includes 6 quarters of irrigation, which is irrigated by effluent water from the city of Moose Jaw. We grow about 1000 acres of oilseeds, grain and alfalfa.
